4. First aid measures
- Mechanical injuries (e.g. cuts or bruises):
– Immediate cleaning with water and appropriate agents.
– If serious injuries or persistent pain occur, consult a doctor.
- Batteries (in case of contact with battery fluid or vapors):
– Eye contact: Rinse eyes immediately with water and seek medical advice.
– Skin contact: Wash skin thoroughly with water.
– If swallowed: Get medical help immediately.
5. Firefighting measures
- Contact the fire department:
In case of fire, contact the fire department immediately.
- Cause and sources of fire:
Lithium batteries (CR123): In the event of a fire caused by damaged or defective lithium batteries, there is a risk of fire and explosion. Lithium batteries should not be extinguished with water.
- Alkaline batteries:
These can become dangerous at extreme temperatures and produce fumes or flames.

- Deletion procedure:
Do not use a water extinguisher on a fire caused by lithium batteries. Use a lithium battery fire extinguisher or an ABC dry chemical extinguisher instead.
6. Protective clothing during handling and assembly

7. Disposal instructions

Due to the special filling material in the walls and locks, safes must be disposed of at designated scrap yards or recycling centers. These facilities are equipped to safely dismantle safes and recycle the material in an environmentally friendly manner.

- Transport:
– The safe is not classified as dangerous goods, but safety precautions must be taken because it is heavy.
– Batteries: Avoid transporting damaged batteries. Secure the packaging well to prevent damage and short circuits.
- Packaging:
Make sure the safe or furniture does not tip over or become damaged during transport. Use shock-resistant packaging to prevent mechanical damage.
9. Maintenance and care

– Use a soft, dry cloth to regularly clean the safe or furniture.
– Avoid using aggressive cleaning agents as these could damage the surface.

- Check the electronic lock batteries regularly and replace them in a timely manner to avoid failures.
– Lithium batteries: Make sure that the batteries are not damaged when removed and do not come into contact with metallic surfaces.
